was great that day)
Player you most admired as a youngster: Dessie Farrell, what a legend
|
|
Favourite Other Sport: Hurling (I used to think I was good), Golf (I’m starting to think I am good), Rugby (Don’t think I’ll ever
be good at that, front row forward someday
maybe?)
Sportsperson You'd Most Like To Meet: Roy Keane, a role model if ever there was one…just
don’t ask Haaland
|
Most Difficult/Admired Opponent:
Dick Hackett, don’t think I’ve scored a goal on him yet…some day
soon Dec, some day soon
Favourite Food/Drink:
Pasta & milk (does Franny read this?)
Favourite TV Show:Lost, I’m ashamed to say
Favourite Music:Killers, Snow Patrol, and a bit of Luke Kelly and the like every now and then
|
Most Memorable Moment:
Pulling on the famous red & green of Clashmore for the very first
time, there was a tear in my eye.
|
Biggest Disappointment To Date:
Losing 2001 All Ireland, and not playing, my arse was
numb from all that sitting on the bench
|
Biggest Influence: Na Fianna people, Dessie, the old man…and of course Dick Hackett who
thought me some finishing on those long summer evenings at Cross
Ambition: Just the one, to win a SFC with Clashmore.
|
Worst Drill/Best Drill: ehhhh…shooting practice. Yea, I like that one
Favourite Biscuit: You cannot beat a Club Milk and I will argue with any man who says
otherwise…and yes, it most definitely IS a biscuit, don’t mind the doubters
Advise to younger players: I’ll answer that in a few years, I’m too young for that |
