The Juvenile GAA Club AGM took place recently at Clashmore Heritage Centre. The first report was given by Mary O’Halloran, Secretary, and the gradings for the coming year were discussed at length, followed by a very comprehensive financial statement for the year which was presented by Gemma O’Connor, Treasurer. Tim Bourke, Chairman, then gave his summary of the past year, and looking back, it was easy to see that we had competed very well at all levels by the number of County Finals we contested. While we failed to bring home any silver ware, it was down to Lady Luck rather than a lack of ability on most days. It was good to see some of our older juvenile players taking part in the historic Minor football win for the club in 2009, and this minor side of course came up through the ranks of the Juvenile Club showing for all to see what fantastic work has been put in at Juvenile level in this Club in the past few years.
