Very little infomation can be found on the 1925 Senior County Final between Clashmore and Ring, and nothing of the precedng championship. The following clip is as much as was carried in the local papers regarding the final. One thing of note about the final was that Ring lodged an objection against Clashmore's win at the next County Board meeting, on the grounds that Clashmore had fielded three illegal players. The Ring Club produced proof that three of the players had played previously that year in a Co. Cork league, followed swiftly by the Clashmore delegate calling the point out of order. It went to a vote under Chairman Dan Fraher and the objection was upheld by 10 votes to 4, but what action was taken remains a mystery.
